Inside out.

What’s in the bag… just a little glimpse of my daily carry around. I don’t tend to over load my bag. I’m not a fan of an aching shoulder from carrying too much daily luggage. Nothing more painful then a heavy bag strap. As you can tell this is my favourite handbag of all time. A complete spoil but worth it. It’s certainly the most comfortable of all the bags I’ve acquired over the years. It takes the weight completely and sits perfectly at the side. It’s that easy to use I sometimes forget I’m carrying it. I love so many handbags at the moment but they are rather highly priced and well outside my budget.I’m not complaining thou, this Celine bag is certainly enough to please for a lifetime. I have a few bags set aside for my daughter. I don’t want to use them too much as I don’t want them ruined for her. I have a treasure trove ready for her. It’s pretty impressive and I think she’ll be a happy little teenager when it comes around. Not that I’m using her as an excuse to build on my collection…. well, not too much. I’m sure she will appreciate my hard work. Ha ha. I’m certainly putting the word investment pieces to good use…. Dawn xx

Smoke ‘n Mirrors

I’ve been so busy lately with blogging stuff and with my three children that I’ve not had a great deal of time to post all that I wanted from the past few weeks. Catching up here with a few pictures I took the other week whilst in London on a short break. I stayed at the renaissance hotel (some pics here). I was lucky enough to stay in the beautiful kings suite, where I felt a lot like a princess. Four poster beds, chaise longue, roll top baths and luxurious dressing areas… aw heaven. I rarely get to sit for long enough to do my make-up as I’d like. No sooner I’ve sat down my little girl is ready to jump on my lap and share my lipstiks. Or rather mash-up my lipstcks. You can often hear me shouting out after her ‘bring mummies lipstick back’ …

I took the pics of my make-up to add to the other hotel room pics taken whilst messing around. Fitted well with a post I’ve been wanting to do. After being asked a lot about the make-up I use from readers, I thought this a perfect chance to do a make-up post. Most of my make-up is by Tom Ford. I flick between the browns and pink eye pallets but I always use the tom ford espresso brow and eye line pencils. The most argued about product I like to use is the ravish blusher. Some make-up gilrs love it some don’t, For me it’s a personal fav. I feel it brings warmth to my cheeks. I’m not a pinky cheek kinda girl and prefer a sun-kissed natural look. Thou I do love smokey heavy eyes for nights out.

I’ve listed everything I use from the Tom Ford range- some pieces are not shown above.
Limited edition cream for eyes-Escapade
Shade and illuminate creme
Bronzing Powder Gold dust
Golden Mink Eye pallet
Sable smoke lip colour
Tom Ford Blusher
Tom Ford Espresso Eye liner pencil
Violet Dusk eye colour quad
Espresso Brow Sculpter

I was also wearing
Mango Jeans
Topshop Jewels (something similare here)
