A little weekend dressing inspiration. I posted this look over on nstagram few weeks ago but only just got around to blogging it here. I have an obsession with coats and jackets this time of year. With so many to chose from it becomes a bit of an issue which one to buy. With such long winters and so many different occasions to wear them, one is never enough. I love these long easy dressing kind. Perfect for layering. Soft and comfortable is the key when dressing for autumn/winter.The high street is a great place to buy these types of coats. Not spending hundreds of pounds on just one means you can buy more to suit your purpose/occasion. Have a great sunday xx Dawn
A little impromptu photo shoot on a night out. I couldn’t resist the beautiful back drop and capturing this cute suede outfit. Channelling the 60’s/70’s era with this A-line suede dress and suede knee highs. My sister enjoyed referring to films and songs that my outfit suited.Scooby doo, avengers and most favoured.. Austin powers. I love these 60’s inspired dresses. And suede has always been one of my favourite fabrics to create a classy and luxurious feel to an outfit. These strong tones are great to clash together too. I barely added anything in the way of accessories as the outfit says everything I want it too. I Hope you’ve had a great weekend. xx Dawn
Stepping out to a sun filled London street. Heaven. London is beautiful when the sun is shining. The ease of sandals and a slip on dress seem to fit perfectly. A little time out from reality and a wonder around the pretty streets of cafes and shops is time well spent.I’ve not had too much time this year to get to London as much as i should of. Been missing out on some great opportunities but my children’s growing commitments have taken first place. It’s been a wonderful year for them.Shining in School and in their chosen sports. Hopefully I’ll get a bit more time this summer to get here more often. Dawn xx
The what shall I wear today dilemma..? problem solved. Black. Always the fail safe option no matter what situation. Day to day or special occasion. The head-to-toe all black look is probably the safest bet. When in doubt go with this classic all black look. Maybe throw on a fancy pair of shoes something embellished or a just a simple pop of colour, a classic handbag and the daily dilemma of what to wear is just about sorted. Classic pieces to keep safe in the wardrobe are always a good place to start if your wondering what to buy? I’m on the look out for a classic pair of black trousers. Something I can pull on with ease and looks great with just about anything . Finding the right shape can be the hardest part. You might go through twenty pairs before you hit the jackpot but I guess thats sometimes the fun of a little shopping trip or an online shopping indulgence. Dawn xx
It’s monday, it’s the easter holidays and I’m already exhausted. A wait at the barbers with two little men who know exactly how they want their hair is very amusing. The length at the back has to be this, and the sides that, and the top long and the parten cut in..oh and the wax. The list goes on. I love sitting there listening to them. Exactly that two little men growing beautifully. I sit there with a whole lot of pride.
As I’m running around all day being bossed about. I thought it best to wear my trainers. These new balance are so comfy. The ideal run around that still look good with jeans and a leather jacket. Hope your having a great start to the week. I’m hoping I’ll have some hair left in the next fortnight, but if I haven’t you’ll know why. Ha ha love Dawn xx
