Going softly in pink and creams lately.I love this soft pallet. With the weather being so mild it’s been the perfect excuse to indulge in these soft nudes. I found myself going from on extreme to the next. I’m either top to toe in black or head to toe in these delicate tones. I love both looks. But it seems appropraite to still wear these deleicate colours with such pretty autumn days.

Layering up these gorgeous pieces to create today’s look.This handkerchief top enables a great pair of shorts to slightly show through. The sheer,lace and ruffled detailing to the jacket can turn a simple outfit into something a bit more dramatic.I absolutely love adding these types of textures and detailing to a look. Lace has always been a big part of my wardrobe. You could go for an all out lace look or you could go with just a glimpse of lace. That’s the joy of layering pieces, you can have as much or as little as you want or as suits the mood. It’s the start of the summer season so there’s plenty of reasons to add this kind of detailing. I find summer easier for this kind of dressing. Not having to hide all these gorgeous pieces under jumpers or coats is my idea of getting dressed up. Happy weekend dressing. xx Dawn

Ditsy print and not much of anything else really. But it’s the start of the shorts season so it’s the start of things to come. I’m more then happy as it signals the start of summer. We’ve had such lovely days here recently I thought I’d put these shorts and top on for a litle summer outfit inspo.
