The latest jacket dilema sorted. Go relaxed safari style with denim of indigo shades and staple pieces of cream and black. Give it a twist with an alternative belt or keep it straight up simple. This particular utility style jacket in olive green hue is softened with a golden sheen. Adding gold accessories also lifts the look. Keeping it relaxed is key. The safari look is a beautiful trend to channel for everyday . A jacket like this can really make a simple outfit chic. A braided leather belt is my next move for this little number. Adding it to a cream skirt or pants would be ideal. Little things likes this jacket can become a timeless piece for your capsule wardrobe. I wore this outfit for my trip to London this week. I got to preview the new Rachel Comey AW15 collectionwhich actually included several pieces in this khaki tone. There are a few pics over on my Instagram of the evening. Have a great end of week. Dawn xx
I’ve been wearing a lot of black lately. I’ve been a little bored with the strong colours at the moment so relying on my old faithful – the all black look. I’ve added a little spice with the metallic vest and studded sandals but thats about it. Not venturing too much in the heavy colours for summer- not just yet anyway. But you never know, next week could be something completely different. For now thou I’m playing it simple.
I love metallics worn alone against skin tones. Especially good in the summer and for the beach. I can’t wait to enjoy a little warmer sunshine and go with out the jacket but it’s not quite there yet. Wearing sandals is a summer time favourite of mine- these rockstud gladiators are very glamorous and great for dressing up a simple jeans outfit. Hope your all having a good weekend. Catch up next week when I might wear something other then black xx Dawn
I’ve picked them up, tried them on, debated about the colours, but never gone through with buying a pair of the Valentino rockstuds. That is until now.I saw these gorgeous pink on pink colour combo with gold hard ware and instantly knew it was time to get myself a pair.
Yesterdays blue skies and sunshine brought them out on their first outing. Do love finding the ultimate pair of shoes. I’ve been quite good this year and bought mainly from the high street but it’s my birthday in a few weeks so thought it the perfect time to indulge …
Wore an old pair of sass and bide jeans.Do love the bleached out look. Especially good with simple white tee. Added a little glamour with pale pink jewelled earrings and kept the cold out in chunky over sized cardigan.
