Dreamy and oh so beautiful. Just a few pictures from my first few days here on the Cote d’ azur. So much to write so I’d better make it snappy as I have three little ones waiting for me to jump into the pool with them. The coastline is breathtaking and there’s port after port. My favourite at the moment is Saint Maxime. Utterly beautiful. Very busy but so chic and pretty. Cobbled streets and coloured shutters. You can catch a water taxi from here to Saint Tropes. This takes about 10 minutes and is probably the best way to get there. As the traffic can be hellish. Its super busy when you get there but make sure you walk the alley to the top square where you will find the beautiful designer shops to window shop and lovely bistro’s to enjoy some amazing sea foods. The beaches around Agay are where I’ve recently been. But these are very busy and quite rocky. It can be hard to park but it’s all good and there are lovey beach restaurants waiting to serve you. Lounging by the pool had been the best way to unwind. Walking for early morning coffee and croissants and flicking through the beautiful pages of French Vogue. Ahhh it feels wonderful to just sit and enjoy the sunshine. There’s so much to do. I’ve the beaches of Fruges to sample the next few days.Monte Crlo, Cannes and Nice all to come… Be sure to catch everything over on my instagram and snapchat. Have a great week xx Dawn
Relishing in being able to wear less and enjoy these delicate , flimsy pieces .This warm weather makes dressing easy. Simple throw on pieces that you can live in from morning till night. I picked up this romper back last autumn. I knew it would be ideal for these gorgeous summer days. It’s been pretty hot these last few days and I find myself taking trips in the car with the air con on full just to cool off.
Stepped out for lunch on a sunny afternoon. Thought it time for a little daytime glamour. So opted for this chic jumpsuit. Simple but smart and nothing much else needed. Do adore it being that easy. Threw on a pair of high heels and jet black sunglasses on to keep in with the mode and away to go.
I was in London last week for a shoot with John lewis as I mentioned in my previous post (Florals). I can now post the pictures from the night. It was such a great time. Getting my hair and make up fixed and having the opportunity to experiment with florals and high octane colours.I’m not usually one to go very bright or for citrus colours. I definitely moved out of my comfort zone of denim and head to toe black. There were so many great pieces in the Floral edit. My favourite was definitely the playsuit. So easy to wear for both day and night. And for light weight holiday packing. Electric blue shoes are also one of my favourites and the heel on these are perfect for a little daytime glam as well as party nights. I really can’t wait for summer. You can shop the Floral edit here…and see my full feature here
Thanks everyone for a fabulous evening and for giving me such a wonderful opportunity xxx Dawn
P is for easy to wear playsuits. Great for summer days spent out and about. Especially love the relax fit to this one. Draped front and eleastic waist make it ideal for lounging around. I could of added a belt but I actuall like the way it falls. Left by itself the fabric is soft and finds it way to fit in the most flattering way. Didn’t want to spoil that with too much fuss. This weather is just fabulous for dressing- I always feel more at ease in summer clothes- thou I do love winter layering I could quite easily spend my life in the sun.
P is for party.. today was spent with my family and the BBQ. Cooking outside has such appeal. It’s easy to get carried away with food sizzling, drinks flowing and the sun shining- someone turn up the music- party mood.
