Bare minimum

Early evening is certainly my favourite time of day-people and temperatures start relaxing a things feel a lot less hectic. Kept things to a minimum today. It’s definitely easier that way. It’s such a problem when the weather gets hot here in the UK- we always seem so unprepared for it. Lack of outdoor swimming pools, beach clubs and dining areas makes things harder. Certainly not complaining, well apart from yesterday when I was in London. It was so hot around oxford street that I was glad to leave- that’s a first for me. I usually love visiting London.
I’m not one to sit in the sun. I enjoy the ease of living the weather brings-like not having to worry about getting rained on etc. The only worry I guess is protecting your skin. I bought some great beauty products recently. I’ve been using the una brennan brand for some time now and love trying the different ranges. I’ve got a new vit c skin brightener which include a protector. I know we don’t have an incredible amount of sunshine or vit d and it’s good to soak up the rays but we should still be aware of the dangers of the sun. It’s always good to look after your skin.

Sunday Style

I’m heading to the coast to catch some breeze. It’s all about the bikini today. I love to mix and match mine. I don’t think I’ve worn a matching set in years. I like odd seperates. It’s great when I find just the odd top or bikini bottoms and they match something I already have at home. The best time for this is in the sales .. you can pick up a beautiful top or bottoms and not have to worry if they don’t have the matching set. Follow my day on instagram here

Sunday style today consists of
Tabitha Simmons boots (find them here & here)
H&M Bikini seperates
Zara shorts ( Similar but different)
Celine Tv Screen sunnies

Sunday Style

A laid back sunday spent eating and chilling out. I do love being busy and cramming in as much as I can but I also love the excuse of a lazy sunday. For me this mainly consist of cathing up with family and more often then not eating a typical sunday roast. I try to keep away from cooking it myself and head to one of my favourite eating places to be looked after. Usually end up eating far too much and spending the remainder of the day moaning about the fact. Casual dressing in my distressed mango jeans and zara military shirt, worn open with a simple black vest. Couldn’t leave the house without a little glamour, so added my 4 inch louboutins, of course. Keeping my glasses permanently on as I was out last night on a dancing/general let loose kinda evening. Nights like that are a must ! Hope you’ve all had a wonderful weekend. Dawn xxx

Easily mistaken for something for the bedroom this lace slip is actually a dress I picked up just over a year ago. Excessively short- like everything I own (so I was told today.. Ha ha) Intimate dressing- not for bedtime or for under clothing but for wearing out on glamorous affairs. Sweet and decadent daytime to evening slinky numbers are a must this year. A pretty transitional piece that can be worn for summer evenings or for real trend setting, worn under heavy coats for winter nights out partying. I wasn’t brave enough to wear this piece alone until recently but the desire far out-weighed the fear. Doubled up with cream on cream and added nude accessories for a light airy feel.

High and Slinky

A beautiful day called for a fabulous pair of slinky high shoes. Paired these naked shoes with denim’s and a tee. I’ve been a bit quiet this last week-but I’m back to the blog and looking forward to the company blog awards next week. I do love high heels not practical for every part of my day. Really couldn’t magine doing the school run in them but I don’t need too much of an excuse to change quickly back into them
