The classic camel coat. The fail safe winter staple. Pretty much goes with anything and everything. Chic, comfortable and easy to wear. I love these coats and they last for years and years. It’s definitely worth investing in a good winter coat. This neutral shade is great for long lasting wear and you can always add a belt like I have here. Or even a pop of colour to compliment the soft shade.
Going with a pair of these cropped flared jeans is a great option for Autumn too. Great for showing off boots. As this year there are so many beautiful pairs with amazing details you need a hemline to compliment them. I’ve gone for a pair of sandals here as I was enjoying the last few weeks of freedom for the feet. I do try and resist winter for as long as possible.

Thou I’m a complete online browser, shifting through pages and pages of fashion every week. I wasn’t aware selfrideges delivered flowers throughout the UK. Living in Wales you kind of forget this type of services is available. It’s a great way of getting luxurious bouquets. They have the most beautiful selection online and delivered straight to your door in a gorgeous box. And now that mothers day is only a week away, it seems the perfect idea for a dreamy mothers day gift. I love these vibtage pink roses. It’s always lovely to receive flowers and especially nice on mothers day. As I’m a mum of three .I thought I’d put this gorgeous gift guide together along with this gucci inspired outfit post, to help insipre you when spoiling your own mum/mother/mammy/mamma. What ever name you like to use the importance of showing your mum you care is the same the world round. My mother is without doubt the most amazing person. She’s there for me every day. No matter what. She’s selfless and loving and I adore her-she’s my closet friend. Being able to show her how much she means to me is really important. I’ll definitely be ordering her a bouquet from the Selfridges range. I know she’ll love them. If your mother isn’t a flower lady try a few of the gifts I’ve added here in my gift guide. You can find lots more by clicking through here.
These are just a few of my favourites from the Selfridges range of gifts available this mothers day. A complete dreamy list of every thing that’s pretty and lovely. Happy mothers day to all my mummy friends on here. Keep doing a greet job. It’s one of the hardest jobs in the world and can feel exhausting most of the time. But to grow a family fillled with love and to love and cherish your children is with out doubt the best feeling in the world. Dawn xx
It feels like ages since I blogged last and I guess it has been in comparison to when I was blogging several times a week. I needed to take some time out and concentrate on other aspects of my life. My son started high school this september and my little girl proper big school too. Big changes and some big tears…all mine I gotta add. Big mummy tears having to let go.. not too much-just a little. Anyway back to fashion and clothes and all things bloggy. I love this maxi dress. Bought it a few weeks from topshop. I’m definitely enjoying wearing skirts this season.. I’ve started adding a few to my wardrobe. This dress is especially one I like. Sheer panels and splits. Great for holidays. I’ve enjoyed wearing it here in Dubai. Perfect for strolling around the malls and dinners out. It’s been wonderful enjoying the late sun. If you been following me on here you’ll know that I have a fear of anything winter …yucky wet weather is a no no for me. Hope you’re all having a wonderful week..see you back here soon !!!! Dawn xx
I headed to London this past weekend to celebrate mine and my sisters birthday. We started with afternoon tea at the Corinthea hotel. Such a pretty place. A stones throw from downing street and the embankment, where buildings stand handsomely above the tiny people and streets below. You can’t help be a little impressed by our heritage, and by those who came before us to of given so much.
Inside the hotel was just as impressive, twinkling lights and delicate decorations are everywhere. A magnificent chandelier commandeers the main room where we sat for tea. Lots of lovely cakes and sandwiches served with glasses of champagne. How can you not love the grandeur of it all. Think I ate far too much and took several hours to recover before heading out for birthday drinks and dancing.
Another treat of the day was getting full makeup done at the Charlotte Tilbury counter in selfridges. I love her make-up and really wanted to try out some of the pieces I had read about. I wasn’t disappointed. Loved every product they used. You can see my look on instagram here. I bought a couple of pieces but will have to stop self gifting and hope santa brings me a few more next week.
I went with full length coat high heels and jeans for my outing. Doubled up on warmth with a poncho underneath and a lace cami for the finer details.
Love this silver foil t-shirt dress. It’s from the topshop collection with Kate Bosworth. Been meaning to post it up on here but things have been realLy busy lately at the boutique, and it’s only today, I’ve had the time to post about it.
A crisp shiny dress is perfect for brightening winter days. I’ve added a chunky knit to dress it down. The slouchy boots also give it a relaxed feel. doing it this way means I get to wear the dress for both day and night.
Hope you all had a fab weekend. As you can see the sun shone a little with me- unfortunately it hasn’t lasted and I’m back here on a wet monday morning.
