My midweek attire had to cater for sunshine with a chill. The morning started with me stepping out in sandals but by midday it had fogged up and was cold enough for my faux fur coat. Not that I’m complaining. I’ve been looking for an excuse to wear it. I adore the cropped sleeve. Especially good for indulging in lots and lots of arm accessories. I love throwing on a great piece like this that completes an outfit. Endless use for both day and night. I wore it with some of my favourite pieces ripped up jeans, studded Isabel Marant sandals and fringe detailed top

I was wearing

Out and about today with my mum and I managed to get a few pictures taken for an outfit post. It’s been almost impossible with the chaos thats been consuming my life at the moment. My posts have been a bit sparse due to me working on opening the dress me perfect boutique. Sounds pretty crazy sayig that- can’t believe it’s becoming a physical space. Been so busy fitting it out, buying stock and all the other stuff, it takes to get it off the ground. I’m hoping to get back to some sort of normality-if you can call it that. It’s school hols too so the kids have 6 weeks off for holidays !!! Sleepless nights and endless days. I’ve lots of other lovely things coming to dress me perfect. So stay with me and see what unfolds this August.
Today I kept it simple in jeans and a sweater. Ironically the jeans look like I’ve had an accident with the paint brush-but I can confirm they were bought this way. What started of as a rainy day actually turned into a beautiful afternoon of sunshine. I don’t think I’ve worn jeans in a month now due to the fab heatwave we experienced recently. It was only yesterday I was adding shorts to my online basket. Didn’t press purchase-thought better of it after realising I’ve a drawer full of them.

So I’m back from holiday (sad face) truly missing the beautiful scenery and warmth. I really don’t deal well with the cold. I guess I can’t complain too much, at least it’s stayed dry since I got back.I picked up a few new pieces over the weekend, especially love this milatary styled shirt with the silver hardware to the shoulders. A great statement piece and also useful for layering up for everyday wear. I was supposed to be in London for fashion week but I had a nasty fall whilst on my hols and cut my leg open. Sadly I’ve needed it to be dressed daily (another sad face) so I’ve missed all the LFW fun. I’m hoping to get there for the final day thou-fingers crossed.
