Bracelets are definitely one of my favourite ways to accessories an outfit. I like mixing different colour golds, as well as textures. I chose to go with my full name on this delicate Anna Lou bracelet. It’s the first time I’ve had my name on a piece of jewellery. I really like it. I’m also getting a necklace in the same. I’m such a hoarder of pretty accessories. I still have bracelets from when I was tiny. Guess I’ve been a little magpie since as young as I can remember. Now that the weather is improving and sleeves become shorter there will be lots more excuses to show off this summers latest armswag.

Hello sunshine.. so good to see the sunshine after all those weeks of rain. I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to see a bright sunny sky. It feels like the longest winter, doesn’t it? Posting these pictures from my weekend where I caught up with friends and got busy doing nothing wearing light chiffon blouse and cropped jeans with my pretty pink heels.

Just a quick post to say Hi. I’ve been busy in London this week working with John lewis on their Floral edit. Here’s a little pic from last’s nights shoot. I had a ball. Dressing up in hat and coat for a very chilly January day. I’m happy to of found a hat that feels comfortable on. I struggle with hats that sit on top of the head and feel like they’ll fall of at any time. If I’m going to wear something on my head it definitely has to feel comfortable. I also adore the pale pink colour of this one. One of my favourites. Perfect for spring days too. Hurry up weather and warm up. There are so many beautiful clothes arriving in store lately but unfortunately we are months away from being able to wear them. It’s quite depressing not being able to wear what you want because of the cold weather. I feel the need for a holiday pretty soon. Sandals and shorts… watch out!!!!

AFTERNOON TEA

I headed to London this past weekend to celebrate mine and my sisters birthday. We started with afternoon tea at the Corinthea hotel. Such a pretty place. A stones throw from downing street and the embankment, where buildings stand handsomely above the tiny people and streets below. You can’t help be a little impressed by our heritage, and by those who came before us to of given so much.
Inside the hotel was just as impressive, twinkling lights and delicate decorations are everywhere. A magnificent chandelier commandeers the main room where we sat for tea. Lots of lovely cakes and sandwiches served with glasses of champagne. How can you not love the grandeur of it all. Think I ate far too much and took several hours to recover before heading out for birthday drinks and dancing.
Another treat of the day was getting full makeup done at the Charlotte Tilbury counter in selfridges. I love her make-up and really wanted to try out some of the pieces I had read about. I wasn’t disappointed. Loved every product they used. You can see my look on instagram here. I bought a couple of pieces but will have to stop self gifting and hope santa brings me a few more next week.
I went with full length coat high heels and jeans for my outing. Doubled up on warmth with a poncho underneath and a lace cami for the finer details.
