I was wearing Coat, H&M Similar here and here Shoes, Here Handbag, YSL & here Jeans, Levi’s Top, Balmain and here I love adding a pop of colour and this years colours and textures are so much fun. It’s a great way to brighten up an outfit. Suede is without doubt my favourite season texture. Oh and velvet. The weather has been so good that it’s made dressing for fall so much more enjoyable. I’ve so many looks to post up. You can see them all over on my instagram where you can also shop pretty much every outfit I post. The camel coat is such a versatile winter staple piece. I can wear it with anything and it covers you up so well when they are over sized like this that you don’t need to worry to much about what to wear under them.
Have a great week and be sure to catch up with my daily outfits over on instagram.
Dressing like a princess in tulle pink maxi skirt an metallic pink heels. I’m hugely into pink at the moment. It’s such a soft pretty colour and perfect with nudes. I wore mine here with a chunky knit which I love. I like to wear something that you wouldn’t normally expect to see together. Pairing the skirt up this way means being able to wear it more often then not. It’s usually more of something you’d see for a special occasion but I don’t want to just wear it for that. Putting it with something edgy would be a really good option. Like a leather jacket or denim shirt. I’v gone pretty pretty but there are so many more options. I’ve still got so many holiday pictures to post up. Catching up after being away is so hard. I’m still on French riviera time… slow and chilled. September is here in the next day or two so I guess it’s time to put my foot on the pedal an go full swing into Autumn. Don’t think I’ll posting too much winter clothing too soon though. I’m going to milk these pretty outfits for as long as I can.

Don’t you just love summer. Warm days that just feel so easy. Long lazy nights sat with a warm breeze and a cold drink. There’s definitely been a feel of summer these last few days. Dressing for summer can sometimes feel daunting. Having to unveil skin that hasn’t seen daylight for months isn’t the nicest feeling. It can sometimes feel awkward. Tops of legs and arms or the belly. Wearing cut out tops and shorts can feel alien to start, but it only takes a few days and everything feels natural again.
Preparing skin for summer sun can be an effort. But if you keep on top of it, you don’t need to be constantly worrying about it’s appearance. A good exfoliator is the key and I also like to use a coco butter to moisturise my skin as it’s longer lasting and really helpful at hydrating my skin. I’ve recently used the Charlotte Tilbury body balm and magic face cream. I have to say the results are amazing. My skin was instantly radiant with minimum effort. I always like to tan my skin with a little help from my favourite James reed mousse. Make sure skin is treated before applying-especially if its for a special occasion. I never exfoliate the same day as I tan. I always worry about damaging the skin then adding something to it that can aggravate it. So I allow at least 12 hours before I apply the tan. I always moisturise my ankles and hands after the tan to try and even it out. Bony areas are always a pain to get right. Big point to watch out for is washing hands after tanning. Don’t do it…well not for at last 30 minutes anyway. Gentle exfoliators are the best for the face, nothing too rough remember delicate areas need some TLC. Keep lips soft in the heat with a handbag size lip balm and I always think a eye serum is useful to use throughout the day to keep looking fresh and radiant. Happy pampering. xx Dawn
Totally smitten with this gorgeous blush bomber. I love the texture the style and the colour. It’s everything. It’s easy to throw on and it’s super pretty. I can’t think of what you couldn’t wear with it. It’s the perfect summer piece and it’s great for travelling and of course it’s massively on trend. I wouldn’t care even if it wasn’t. I like it and that’s all that counts. Sometimes we forget to buy things we actually love. Being bombarded with so many trends and looks we can’t think what we actually really like. I’m taking it back to everything I love about dressing. I’m throwing away the rule book. The trends the what to buys, the what’s hot and I’m wearing the stuff I love !! Regardless. Enjoy dressing, enjoy your body and enjoy being just you. xx Dawn
