Roll um up

I’ve not posted much these last few weeks- been so busy with christmas and family and other projects – two I’m working on now and I’m so excited about them… fingers crossed all goes well and I’ll be able to post about it very soon !! Today I decided to roll everything up- both jeans and jacket (sleeves) went up a few inches maybe in anticipation for spring but it’s always been a favorite look of mine. It’s just hard to do it a lot in this climate, usually ankles and hands are well wrapped up in boots and gloves. Brightened everything up with this acid orange coloured jumper, not a colour I tend to wear but I actually really like it. The new spring/summer colours are full of pastels and acid neons.. sometimes all too much to take in- but can’t wait to to be dressing in them.

Pleased to say this look made Asos fashion finder front page ..delighted !! Thanks asos xxx

Today I was wearing

Jaeger jumper

Reiss leather

River island boyfriend jeans

Mulberry bag

Christian Louboutin heels.(similar here)

Couldn’t resist photographing the jacket again to show how I wore it today. I guess I might as well do a third look over the weekend – call it one jacket three ways. I teamed it here with white jeans. White in winter? why not? I thought as the weather is so grey I’d freshen up my look with clean white pants and heels.

Today I was wearing Zara jacket
Guess jeans
Christian Louboutin heels

Week #1

One dress of choice from M&S- Four interview scenario’s spread over four weeks. That’s the M&S style challenge. Week 1 Challenge: Creative but classy – create an interview outfit for a fashion role at a well-known UK fashion brand (e.g. a design role, a salesperson, a marketing exec)

I’ve been asked to take part is this great style challenge with Marks and Spencer- ‘what to wear to an interview’ I’ve had to choose one dress of my choice from M&S to style up for four different interview scenarios. This week I’ve had to dress for a position as a marketing executive, salesperson, or other creative role within a well known UK fashion brand.I’m going against 4 other female bloggers. There are also five men (bloggers) doing the same with suits. I’ve kept it chic and simple by adding four key pieces-A smart blazer, a gold belt, nude ankle strap heels and a touch of animal print in this gorgeous handbag. I’ve accessorised with my favorite gold bracelets.

I’m wearing

M&S dress, Louboutin heels, Topshop blazer, Miu Miu belt and Jimmy choo handbag.

Morning in Mayfair

(Pants, Acne. Jacket, Gucci. Top, Topshop. Shoes, Chrristian Louboutin)

After a night out celebrating mine and my sisters birthday in London I had to be up early to get back home. It was the most beautiful morning and I would of liked to of sat outside leisurely drinking coffee and watching the world go by but duties called. I wasn’t complaining as I do love to be part of the city when the air is fresh and everyone is rushing to get to work, the London buzz….

Whilst in London I managed a peek in selfridges, I was drawn instantly to the new seasons soft pastels and pop, candy colours. After a long winter of black it was refreshing to see the splurge of colours on the shop floor. I was like a kid in a candy shop…. I got my hands on these gorgeous pants from Acne’s new season collection, couldn’t resist wearing them on my journey home.
