I was Wearing Sweater, Topshop Shorts, Topshop Sandals, Banana Republic
Sunglasses, Celine
Striped sweater, suede sandals and shorts.. it must be a day in London. Do love a slouchy sweater especially over a pair of short shorts. Nude sandals always work well for summer. I’ve missed wearing this kind of look and now that the weathers changing it’s nice to be able to go for a stroll in such attire. It also helps when the surrounds are as beautiful as they are here. Dreamy cafe stops and browsing in shops. What a perfect way to spend the day. Find out why I’ve been in London the weekend tomorrow over on my social channels. There’s a really exciting project I’m doing this week. I’d love you to be part of too… so keep your eyes peeled. xx Dawn
I was wearing Sweater/shirt combo Toshop Trousers, Giambattista valli here & here Boots,Here Sunglasses,Celine Coat,H&M
The sun was shining for the first day of fashion week. Which meant I could wear my fancy pants. I was in two minds of how to style them. I think I wanted to dress them down with something that fell over the top of them rather then all tucked in. I wanted to make them a little more casual. Thou they look fabulous with a pretty blouse I decided to go with a sweater/ shirt combo. It kind of dresses the trousers up but in a different way, so I’m not sure I actually accomplished what I wanted to.The collar is something I don’t usually go for. It took a bit of getting use to. Wearing something done up is not usually my style. It’s always hard to know what to wear. I don’t think I’m ever truly happy with my outfits. There’s always something I’d change… but I guess thats the beauty of evolving – your style grows to create the looks that suit you best.
Juggling travelling from show to show and keeping warm often means not wearing exactly what I would like. Any way enough moaning from me. The day was a great success which hasn’t always been the case. If I told you some of my fashion week stories you’d probably cry for me. But this time with a little help from my firends and family I got it to run smoothly. I made the shows I wanted and I over come my fear of the London under ground. This was great as amoungst other lovely photographers, magazine editors I got to meet a fascinating women who turned out to be a street style photographer for Barney’s New York. Without her I probably wouldn’t of got on the tube and wouldn’t of made the shows I wanted and on time.
I’ve got lovely shots from the Bora Aksu, Felder Felder & Ryan Lo shows that I’ll share with you on here in the next day. I’d like to get everything up in one day but I’ve got three kids I’ve gotta get back to … so I’ll see you for round two soon. Have a great weekend. xx Dawn
Quick visit to London to start the week. Nice to get some time out and clear the head. It’s been such a hectic time personally. So many things happening right now. Most;y mother duties.Which is a good thing as I love spending time with my kids and helping them progressive. However having a cheeky day out to London is always good for the soul.
It’s also been the first chance I’ve had to wear this goegeous suede trench. The rain decided to stop so I decided to go with beige footwear and cover up.Christmas pressie’s that i’ve not been able to use until now AARRRGH
These trenches are great for the coming spring season. Transitional dressing is on my mind… and now I’ve just seen all the latest new arrivals I’m desperate to indulge in summer dressing. There are so many beautiful pieces out there at the moment. It’s hard to know wether to buy new arivals or last pieces from the sale. Both !1 ha ha thats the best idea. But I think with a choice it would have to be a sneaky new season piece. xx Have a great week.
I recently wore this look for my fashion week trip to London a few months ago. I still love the look and it’s very current for this winter. . It’s still one of my favourites. I love the nude and cream tones for this look too. Chunky, heavy or fine knits.. everything goes. I kept my look simple with a beige over the knee boot and similar tone sunnies and handbag. I’m making knitwear a huge factor in my winter wardrobe this year. It’s a simple way to keep warm and a great way to stay looking super chic in the cold.
I really like the ones I’ve chosen above. There a so many great pieces but these are my favourite. I hope you like them too.Have a great week. xx Dawn
I’m adding new colours to my Autumn wardrobe. I always like an all black look but I also love theses new season shades. The baby doll dress is a great piece for both day and night. This kind of look can be a fitting outfit for the day-to -Night dilemma. It’s something you can dress up for an evening look or to wear for something fun like shopping and lunch. Wear it any wear dressesare a key piece for any wardrobe.Current colours such as pinks and nudes keep your look fresh. The weathers been great so it’s the perfect excuse to go for something a little different and besides the lighter shades are great transitional pieces for the spring. Always the optimist !! Have a great week. Dawn xx
