And the winner is…

Great news today- I was announced the winner of the “what to wear to an interview” Marks and spencer style challenge. I’m so excited and so happy to of won against 4 other great UK bloggers. To be judged by one of Britain’s biggest stores as a winner makes me smile from ear to ear. My challenge, one dress-four ways -four different styles to suit each interview scenario.I chose this peplum skirt dress as I thought it had great versatility for styling. Collars, belts, studs, leather, animal and layering- so many ways to make one dress look great. The looks will be featured on the M&S website which I’ll put a link to when it goes live… until then here are the winning looks. My visit to Grazia

Last week I was lucky enough to take a sneak peak behind the scenes of
one of Britains biggest weekly publications… Grazia.
I love the the magazine so was thrilled at the chance of meeting editor Jane Bruton and her team.

( Me with Jo Oliver, editorial assistant for Grazia magazine.)

After waiting in a very chic reception area I got taken upstairs by Jo Oliver the editorial assistant for the mag to look around the offices. Everyone was hard at work.
Jo ran through the everyday workings of the magazine with me and talked about the excitement of when the final pieces come together and get decided upon before going to press. I have to say Jo was such a delightful person.

I then got the chance to catch up with Jane. She was holding a meeting but still took the time out for a chat and to introduce me to her work colleagues.
We had a few giggles and she expressed how she liked the blog which was fantastic to hear. I appreciated her words, it’s good to know that what I’m doing is working and people are enjoying it.
For me meeting her was a wonderful and encouraging experience.

I do like visiting London. It’s a chance to see what’s new in stores, Styles being worn on the streets and at this time of year the summer sales which is always good when bargain hunting, but for me this time was made especially nice by meeting Jane and her team.

A big thank you to Grazia for being so welcoming and I hope to see you soon!
