Took these pictures back at the end of august. Forgot to post them in the chaos of everything thats happened these last few weeks. It’s probably the last time I’ll get to wear my denim shorts. Well at least here in the UK. Unless I get lucky enough to get a holiday before the year is out then I’m sadly saying goodbye to a few of my summer pieces.
Obviously the silk cami is still wearable throughout the year layered under knitwear and coats. Can say I’m a little heady over these sparkling ballerina’s. Couldn’t resist them. I’m a sucker for footwear. I do love september and sometimes it’s a better month then August. There’s something about september days for me- it’s my favourite month of the year. I guess it’s the last month to hang out in the honey lit evenings. I’m most certainly a sunshine girl. Winter is not for me. I seem to whinge about being cold constantly. Though I do enjoy the winter fashions, I don’t excel in the field of heavy duty dressing.
I’ve been following all the New York Fashion Week (NYFW) pictures on the social networks and feeling pretty depressed at not being there. I got my first invite to new york this year but sadly couldn’t make it-still feeling sad about it. One of the dreams I’m working on fulfilling. Along with Paris fashion week. Hopefully one day ……

I was wearing
Carven leather jacket (similar here & here)
Zara Cami
Zara Flats (similar here & here)

P is for….

P is for easy to wear playsuits. Great for summer days spent out and about. Especially love the relax fit to this one. Draped front and eleastic waist make it ideal for lounging around. I could of added a belt but I actuall like the way it falls. Left by itself the fabric is soft and finds it way to fit in the most flattering way. Didn’t want to spoil that with too much fuss. This weather is just fabulous for dressing- I always feel more at ease in summer clothes- thou I do love winter layering I could quite easily spend my life in the sun.
P is for party.. today was spent with my family and the BBQ. Cooking outside has such appeal. It’s easy to get carried away with food sizzling, drinks flowing and the sun shining- someone turn up the music- party mood.

I was wearing
Playsuit (past season but similar here & here)
River Island Shoes (similare here& here)
Celine handbag
Celine TV screen Sunglasses
Reiss Watch strap Bracelet
Pandora oxidised mixed charm bracelet

Pearl mini skirt

Today’s look consists of this delicate chiffon and pearl skirt and heavy wool jumper and suede boots.Dressing down something as beautiful as this skirt seems such a waste but not everyday can be a glam day,I’m just happy to get away with wearing it in this way.I love heavy black on soft nude shades.I’ve included a couple of shots from my instagram.

I’m wearing

Zara skirt, Ash boots, Miu Miu bag and Celine Audrey Sunglasses

Bare legs

I’m indulging in some winter cream to brighten these grey days. I know I’m going to have to start wearing tights with my skirts but whilst I can I’m going bare legs. I do love the lace tights and socks around but finding the right pair can be quite difficult the strong patterns can often make legs look bigger. This skirt is one that’s lay dormant in my wardrobe for the past year. I’ve loved the colour and fabric but have never worn it as the shape just wasn’t right for me.I decided to take two inches of the length making it perfect for what I wanted. I’ve a new face book page I’d love you to join me on.The link to the new facebook page is here. (not the link on the side bar)

I’m wearing.

Carven Skirt, Topshop bracelets, Zara coat and Zara belt.

And the winner is…

Great news today- I was announced the winner of the “what to wear to an interview” Marks and spencer style challenge. I’m so excited and so happy to of won against 4 other great UK bloggers. To be judged by one of Britain’s biggest stores as a winner makes me smile from ear to ear. My challenge, one dress-four ways -four different styles to suit each interview scenario.I chose this peplum skirt dress as I thought it had great versatility for styling. Collars, belts, studs, leather, animal and layering- so many ways to make one dress look great. The looks will be featured on the M&S website which I’ll put a link to when it goes live… until then here are the winning looks. (The full blog posts on each look can also be seen throughout the blog)
