JUMPIN’ JUMPIN’
23/03/2014

Stepped out for lunch on a sunny afternoon. Thought it time for a little daytime glamour. So opted for this chic jumpsuit. Simple but smart and nothing much else needed. Do adore it being that easy. Threw on a pair of high heels and jet black sunglasses on to keep in with the mode and away to go.

My midweek attire had to cater for sunshine with a chill. The morning started with me stepping out in sandals but by midday it had fogged up and was cold enough for my faux fur coat. Not that I’m complaining. I’ve been looking for an excuse to wear it. I adore the cropped sleeve. Especially good for indulging in lots and lots of arm accessories. I love throwing on a great piece like this that completes an outfit. Endless use for both day and night. I wore it with some of my favourite pieces ripped up jeans, studded Isabel Marant sandals and fringe detailed top

LEATHER & LACE

Playing with textures is always good. Here I’m wearing leather, lace and silk. Soft feminine pastels and fabrics with tough heavy duty leather.
I’m pretty obsessed with the Burberry SS14 Collection of lace skirts and embellishments. So when I spotted this lace pencil skirt from the high street it was a must. Great to also dress down with a sweater or to smarten up with a blazer.
It’s so nice to enjoy wearing something a little different then winter boots and coats. Hope this weather lasts. Can’t wait for warm summer days and lazy wearing of shorts and sandals.

HERO PIECE: SAINT LAURENT NECK BOW
28/09/2013

The hero piece as I like to call it, is this pretty neck bow from the newly named fashion house Saint Laurent. A beautiful piece to rescue a plain shirt and trousers outfit. I’ve worn it here with waxed jeans and silk blouse but it also looks lovely with a skirt and blouse combo. I wore it back a few weeks ago for London fashion week over a simple sweater. Such a valuable piece to have safely stored in the drawer. It can make a plain outfit very chic and sophisticated. A whole new look with one easy piece. I’m writing and thinking of all the brilliant ways it can be worn.. feel like I could write a whole list of options. A welcomed addition to mix with a whole spectrum of clothes and colours. White,pink,grey,black.Shirts,blouses,sweaters. The options are endless. I love finding that special something that can stay with you forever. Have a great weekend and happy dressing ….
