Slightly obsessed with the military trend at the moment. One of my favourite pieces has to be this army style jacket. I love the ruffled unfinished edges and the over-sized sleeve. It’s the perfect piece to throw over shorts or jeans. Easy for both day or night and a great travelling piece. I can imagine wearing it over a bikini or vest one evening on hols… here’s hoping. Combining it with scalloped edge shorts adds a double wham my of finishes. Have a great week. You can now find me over on snapchat. I joined last week. So I’d love you to come over and see me on there acting a little silly and having fun with my kids etc.Find me uunder dressmeperfect x Dawn
I love this seasons denim looks. Gone with these high waisted, flared jeans for my weekend attire. Slime lined the look with a second skin pola neck and heavy eye wear. Hope your all having a super weekend. I’m celebrating my sons 13 th birthday this Sunday. Can’t believe he’s a teenager already. Where has the time has gone? Also can’t believe what was my little scamp dude is now a boy far taller then me. Happy birthday my beautiful boy. Love you forever and ever. Your very proud mum xx Dawn
Pants, Sandro Paris (look for the perfume style) Blouse, H&M Corsage Broach, here & here Shoes, Prada (vintage)
I love the ruffle detailing this year and pretty much everything else. Corsages, collars, scarfs and these cropped bell bottomed pants. I’ve introduced a little vintage with my Prada heels which I’ve treasured. I always say about looking after pieces so they can be worn time and time again. Did you see the trends hitting the latest catwalk shows. So inspiring. I loved the Gucci collection. It sparked a real desire to change the way I dress.Introduce colours and patterns and little extras like the collar bows and corsages.I think this Summers fashions are going to be amazing.
I’m really hoping the high street mimick what we’ve seen on the catwalks for spring summer 16. It’s refreshing to see a change in style. Moving towards new influences. I love the delicate feminine tones and eccentric styling.Spring summer looked amazing but the latest AW moved on again, so it’s a really exciting year for dressing up, accessorising and individual styling.
Lots more looks over on my instgram recently and coming here in the next week. I wore this outfit for a lunch to celebrate International Women’s day. Such a great chance to talk about how amazing we are of course and about all the latest news affecting women in the workplace and the best options for us health wise. Check out this company, they are doing amazing things for woman to have a choice for that time of month. When using products that can be harmful these guys are offering a great safe alternative. I’m always keen to promote things that are good for women. Having a choice is fundamental when it comes to our bodies and our health. XX Have a great week Dawn

Swirling and falling to the floor dresses are my latest craze. I love these gorgeous vintage style maxi dresses around at the moment. The designer ones ( I’ve listed below) are my ultimate dream dress but I’m making do with this high street version. Styled it up with a shirt and pretty chiffon neck bow. The little things that you keep you can always bring out years later.Special pieces like this gorgeous neck bow has been in my wardrobe for some time .. it seems the perfect accessory for this year. What with the victorian necklines splattered all ver the recent runway shows. The trend is one of my favourites. The neckline adorned with either flowers, bows or scarfs. Dream state dressing. It’s a really nice direction I’d like to take my style in. Something a little different to my usual. So I’m looking to embrace it and I’m now on the hunt for pretty frilled blouses and lace collars. Have a great week. xx Dawn
I love these turtle neck dresses for Autumn. Easy to wear and pretty simple to dress up or down. It’s the perfect wear any where piece. Always good in classic black too. If I’m ever feeling an off day I always turn to trusty black to save the day. Having these quality pieces in the wardrobe is a good idea. Wear t with boots, shoes, sandals belted or with a simple denim or leather jacket.. in other words pretty much anything.
I’ve been a little slow on my posts recently. My computer blew up for one and my commitments with my children have taken full priority. They are growing so fast now and are so busy with sports and school work. The days off being able to sit at my computer for a few quiet hours is well and truly over. I post on Instagram pretty much daily. As it’s so quick and effortless. Plus I can link my outfits on there too with the liketoknow.it app. I pretty much use it for most of my pictures. A simple like and within minutes an email is sent with full ready to shop outfit details. If it’s not exact then it’s pretty similar. The weeks are flying by and I’m starting to prepar for christmas. I’ll be putting up a few gift guides etc when I get my computer full functional. I hate it wen technology goes wrong. You realise just how much you use and need it. Have a great week. Dawn x
