Just a quick post of an outfit I wore whilst away. Love how easy this dress is to wear. It’s a typical throw on and go out dress. Don’t need to over accessorise it as it’s embellished style is enough. Add a nice bag and shoes and away to go. Christmas is coming so I guess it’s time to start looking for something sparkly to wear for parties ext. This is a great dress to carry you from summer evenings out to special occasions. I always try and buy something I can wear again and again. I think I found it in this cute little dress. I’ve added a few shimmer and shine dresses to shop ready for the party season. Hope you enjoy XX Dawn
It feels like ages since I blogged last and I guess it has been in comparison to when I was blogging several times a week. I needed to take some time out and concentrate on other aspects of my life. My son started high school this september and my little girl proper big school too. Big changes and some big tears…all mine I gotta add. Big mummy tears having to let go.. not too much-just a little. Anyway back to fashion and clothes and all things bloggy. I love this maxi dress. Bought it a few weeks from topshop. I’m definitely enjoying wearing skirts this season.. I’ve started adding a few to my wardrobe. This dress is especially one I like. Sheer panels and splits. Great for holidays. I’ve enjoyed wearing it here in Dubai. Perfect for strolling around the malls and dinners out. It’s been wonderful enjoying the late sun. If you been following me on here you’ll know that I have a fear of anything winter …yucky wet weather is a no no for me. Hope you’re all having a wonderful week..see you back here soon !!!! Dawn xx
Soft creamy sands and beautiful blue seas. Sipping cocktails and splashing in waves. Who’d wanna leave….? not me. Keeping in with the softness. I wore silk vest and creamy distressed shorts-barefooted most of the day, apart from the small walk to the beach where these gorgeous soft nudes sandals came in. Everything light and breezy easy…loved everything about this day.
I’ve been totally lazy this recent holiday-getting dressed was even an effort. Didn’t try for anything to much just simple shorts and tee combo’S. Skinny jeans was the most glam I got too. It was good to go without make up and live with curls for longer then a day. When I did get around to getting my hair blow dried I felt half human again..thou that only lasted all of a day and a bit …the temptation to swim far out weighed that of keeping a sleek hair doo.

My love affair with these light and airy kimono’s continues. The colour block, florals and a fringe finish gives this one a glamorous feel. I was drawn to this one for the black and floral combo. The long fringing looks fab with gorgeous sandals. Definitely a show piece kimono. I had been out at my sons cricket tournament so just threw it over my shorts and lace vest for the evening. I can’t wait to wear it with something more glamourous.Maybe an all black look. Also on a tropical beach with nothing other then a bikini…just day dreaming !!!
