Been a while since my last post. The weeks just seem to go by so quickly and so much happens day to day. I’ve been so busy I’ve not had achance to post. I’ve been indulging in a little seventies fashion here. Full look with aviators, leather bomber, tank and flared jeans. Also kept everything black. I do love that look. I always seem to be drawn to a flared jean. They can be hard to wear. But I do love the classic look. I’m on the hunt for a smart trouser.. I’m thinking flares are the way to go. I love all colours too.Have a great week xx Dawn
Hey smarty pants. How fab are these gorgeous burgundy velvet tuxedo trousers. I’m finding it time to shift into something warmer for these chilly days/ evenings. These pants by designer Each X Other are super hot and very glamorous. The berry colours are certainly making there mark on my wardrobe.I find my self drawn to them more and more. Cosy yet extravagant. The masculine tux played out in a womanly way with slinky high heels and soft silks. It’s a pretty cool look. The added luxury of the silk gives for a super rich feel and fab for dinner dates and evenings spent out on the town. They come with a matching jacket but I’ve kept away from the matchy macthy look and think I’ll keep my eye out for something a little different to wear with them.I’m adding a touch of burgundy to the nails too. I’m usually wearing something silver or nude on the nails but this rich colour looks fab with accessories. Especially love it with gold.
Loving the varsity bombers around at the moment. Dressing mine here with heels but I also love it with my blazers. These kinda jackets have always reminded me of the American movies or something from ‘grease’ – remembering how I wanted to be Sandy or maybe ultra cool Rizzo ? I think my sisters and I played out every scene from that film word for word. All that were missing at the time were the pink satin bombers-So this jacket isn’t pink and satin but it’s a little bit on the american dream theme. Today I’ve posted links to achieveing the look from the high street. I hope it helps. xxx
Roses and metallic gold.I wore this outfit this past Sunday for lunch out with my family.I have to say I do have a real love of roses especially when incorporated in clothing. So the moment I spied this sweater on the rails it was coming home with me if it suited me or not. I’ve mixed it here with this rich gold textured skirt for a twist.Even thou I’ve literally lived day and night in these sandals I had to wear them again here and make the most of the fact I could. I’m sure there will be a shortage of dry days from here now in…
I’m wearing
Sweater and skirt from Topshop, Miu Miu Clutch and Celine shoes.
I have to say my denim and I have have been inseparable this last week hence why i’ve posted up this picture. I realised i’d worn it on three occasions in the last week ,gala evenings, network events and meetings have seen my back graced with the denim look !!
