Took these pictures back at the end of august. Forgot to post them in the chaos of everything thats happened these last few weeks. It’s probably the last time I’ll get to wear my denim shorts. Well at least here in the UK. Unless I get lucky enough to get a holiday before the year is out then I’m sadly saying goodbye to a few of my summer pieces.
Obviously the silk cami is still wearable throughout the year layered under knitwear and coats. Can say I’m a little heady over these sparkling ballerina’s. Couldn’t resist them. I’m a sucker for footwear. I do love september and sometimes it’s a better month then August. There’s something about september days for me- it’s my favourite month of the year. I guess it’s the last month to hang out in the honey lit evenings. I’m most certainly a sunshine girl. Winter is not for me. I seem to whinge about being cold constantly. Though I do enjoy the winter fashions, I don’t excel in the field of heavy duty dressing.
I’ve been following all the New York Fashion Week (NYFW) pictures on the social networks and feeling pretty depressed at not being there. I got my first invite to new york this year but sadly couldn’t make it-still feeling sad about it. One of the dreams I’m working on fulfilling. Along with Paris fashion week. Hopefully one day ……

Mary Mary

London Fashion week – Fall 2012

Front row at Mary Katrantzou catwalk show, london fashion week A/W 12 . Pictures by Dawn -Dress me perfect

Rich and electrifying colours, strong prints and soft swirling dresses came from the Mary Katrantzou show. I adored how the dresses dropped from the bust to spill all around, flouncing in a romantic girlie manner, knitwear which played emphasis to the collar and cuffs, and the all over jaw dropping designs. I could imagine snuggling up in the jumpers this winter. Don’t like to think about that too much since we’ve only just come into spring. From start to finish the whole collection had something fascinating about every piece. For sure there’s something about Mary.

Final day

London fashion week – Fall 2012

My last day at London fashion week started at Tower bridge for the Mary katrantzou catwalk show which was held at the topshop showspace, I’ve lots of pictures of the fashions displayed on the runway. I’m gonna have to get through them all. As soon as I do I’ll post them up.
After the Mary show I headed back to Somerset house to catch the David Koma and Holly fulton shows. My afternoon was then spent catching tubes across London to the white rabbit studio’s where my friend Claire Andrews was part of the Welsh collective show, very exciting as it was her first collection for London fashion week.  I stopped for refreshments, a sneaky glass of blush and then it was back to the free masons hall to see the last few shows. I also managed to catch up with a few of my friends who had been walking the catwalks during the week. A whole day of fun…
For final day of fashion week I wore Acne jacket, Zara skirt, River island denim, topshop boots and Miu Miu bag.
