Madam Rage

I’ve been asked to take part in the madam rage dress challenge. I’ve had to choose a dress from the collection and style it in two ways. The first part of the challenege -dressing for a festival. So here’s my look. I’ve added tassled boots, leather jacket and an oversized bag. I’ve belted the dress with a fabric gold tone belt. Picking up the colours of the pink and gold vinatge print. The two deep front pockets and chain detail collar creates a lovely piece. An easy pull on, no extras needed kinda dress. Better still it’s under £30. You could get away with doing nothing to it and it still be perfectly suitable. I’ll be posting the second look up this week sometime so keep checking in for the second part of the challenge.

Grunge and Curls

(Jumper/Topshop.Skirt/Roberto Cavalli. Boots/Zara)

Decided to go back to my roots and curl my hair. Growing up with a full head of curls made my life easy, no fuss-no styling- I could wake up and just go…. wish it were that easy now!! I’m trying also to keep the roots dark, well for as long as I can bear it !! I do like the rooty look but sometimes it can just look too harsh on me. Loving the studs and embellished knitwear right now, this grunge studded knit is from topshop. Teamed it here with denim skirt and suede boots. Visiting London tomorrow hoping to return with my desired Isabel Marant boots.. watch this space !
