I love simple dressing. Clean lines in metallics are one of my favourites. The new duster coats are fab for versatility. So easy to throw on over pretty much anything. Mornings, afternoons and evenings. Shorts are a summer must have. I do love wearing one feature piece and keeping the rest simple. Loose fitting tee over fancy pants is another great easy to wear outfit idea. Playsuits are a wardrobe saviour. Slip it on and out you go. Easy to accessorise up with belts and necklaces or to simply step into after a day at the beach. If your heading off on hols then all these pieces are perfect for easy packing. Light weight so you can take more.. can’t ever have too much to wear when your away. You never know what your adventure will take you on.Weekends away or long haul. You definitely need a few good basics. Effortless but effective dressing.

Roll um up

I’ve not posted much these last few weeks- been so busy with christmas and family and other projects – two I’m working on now and I’m so excited about them… fingers crossed all goes well and I’ll be able to post about it very soon !! Today I decided to roll everything up- both jeans and jacket (sleeves) went up a few inches maybe in anticipation for spring but it’s always been a favorite look of mine. It’s just hard to do it a lot in this climate, usually ankles and hands are well wrapped up in boots and gloves. Brightened everything up with this acid orange coloured jumper, not a colour I tend to wear but I actually really like it. The new spring/summer colours are full of pastels and acid neons.. sometimes all too much to take in- but can’t wait to to be dressing in them.

Pleased to say this look made Asos fashion finder front page ..delighted !! Thanks asos xxx

Today I was wearing

Jaeger jumper

Reiss leather

River island boyfriend jeans

Mulberry bag

Christian Louboutin heels.(similar here)

light shine through

Vest, H&M.

Been wanting to wear this sheer silver vest since I bought it the last month but weather hasn’t permitted until now. I like it worn alone for it’s transparency as well as it’s peek through back and low-cut plunging underarm. Perfectly acceptable to layer it but I do like the simplicity of the shape when worn as one thin layer. I pulled out my blush scalloped shorts from last season H&M to wear with it and a little pair of white lace ups.

Angels & Fairies

It seems my Christmas is sprinkled with hints of pink. Vintage roses, sparkling shoes and cherubs. I wrote about jewel colours this week and enjoying the extravagance of this time of year, but I do love christmas when it’s about angelic, soft innocence. Everything pretty and covered in soft fairy colours.
