I was in London last week for a couple of days celebrating my parents ruby wedding anniversary. The weather was beautiful and London is always great when the sun is shining. Took these shots around chelsea harbour. Not somewhere I get to come when I’m usually here, so it was a nice change. I wore this very slim fitting pencil skirt for my night out. I love the delicate nude shade and sheer fabric. Not too much room for error (food & drink) but I couldn’t turn down the chance to wear it. It’s not an everyday skirt but it’s definitely a gorgeous piece. I did a little colour blocking and added this lace back black body suit. I do like the colours together. It’s a striking match of nude and black. You could go for a cream or pink to make the look softer which I think I’ll do next time. So the evening went well and my parents had a great time. I was sad this time to leave my sister and sunny London. It was so nice to be together enjoying the special day. I’ve a couple of pics over on my Instagram of my visit. You can check out here. Have a great week. Dawn xx
Lots of us will be having a little fun this year and wearing the christmas jumper. Some even having to wear them as a requirement for christmas work parties, others on fun nights out. Also great to sit around the table on christmas day or just for the general joviality of the festive season. I’ve put together a selection of great jumpers from the high street with a few designers thrown in. There are so many to choose from this year.. do you have a favourite?
I’ve picked them up, tried them on, debated about the colours, but never gone through with buying a pair of the Valentino rockstuds. That is until now.I saw these gorgeous pink on pink colour combo with gold hard ware and instantly knew it was time to get myself a pair.
Yesterdays blue skies and sunshine brought them out on their first outing. Do love finding the ultimate pair of shoes. I’ve been quite good this year and bought mainly from the high street but it’s my birthday in a few weeks so thought it the perfect time to indulge …
Wore an old pair of sass and bide jeans.Do love the bleached out look. Especially good with simple white tee. Added a little glamour with pale pink jewelled earrings and kept the cold out in chunky over sized cardigan.
Love this silver foil t-shirt dress. It’s from the topshop collection with Kate Bosworth. Been meaning to post it up on here but things have been realLy busy lately at the boutique, and it’s only today, I’ve had the time to post about it.
A crisp shiny dress is perfect for brightening winter days. I’ve added a chunky knit to dress it down. The slouchy boots also give it a relaxed feel. doing it this way means I get to wear the dress for both day and night.
Hope you all had a fab weekend. As you can see the sun shone a little with me- unfortunately it hasn’t lasted and I’m back here on a wet monday morning.

I was recently talking about wearing bare legs in winter. I like the trend and as long as its not completely freezing it’s perfectly acceptable. It’s also fine if its teamed with something that covers you up- possibly a big coat thats oversized and fluffy. For me this peachy faux fur seemed the perfect solution. I wore it with this gorgeous floral alice + olivia mini skirt. It was love at first sight. It’s shiny luxe appeal drew me in insantly. An Extravagant addition to my winter wardrobe. I will also be wearing my skirts with tights and boots for deeper winter but for now I’ll take full advantage of glowing autumn days and brave it out in bare legs.
