#CompanyStyleBloggerAwards

It finally came around. The company style blog awards took place last night in London. Greeted with champers, cocktails and a room full of very happy bloggers the night moved on to the ceremony where I’m thrilled to say I won the Highly commended blog award for ‘best personal style’. I think my mouthed dropped to the floor when they announced my name. They had received over 20,000 votes just for the final and much more in blog nominations since they launched the 2013 awards. I was more then happy. I can’t thank you all enough for nominating and voting for me again and again. I was the proudest woman last night. Took me back to my competitive track days-stepping up on podium for a medal. Felt great and I was quite overcome with the lovely messages I received from so many of you. I have lots of pics on my instagram here as I didn’t take my camera to the awards. These outfit pics were taken just outside my hotel on the way to the event… Wore head to toe black-in 3.1 Phllip lim and DVF.

I was wearing
3.1 Phillip lim vest (similar here& here)
DVF Leather shorts (buy here)
River Island shoes

Got-me-twisted

One day it’s summer the next, winter-totally draining. Fed up with the roller coaster weather we’re having here in the UK. I’m sat in my house with the rain pouring down writing a blog post where I’m dressed for summer. Not exactly inspiring. So enough moaning and on to my outfit.Twisted front silk skirt and lace was my calling this bank holiday weekend. Adore the shape of this skirt it falls softly around the hips and feels lovely to wear- tried to capture the look with top in and out to show it’s versatility. Tomorrow is the company style blogger awards so I’m off to london for the night. So excited-fingers crossed xxxxx I’ve a very happy day ahead win or no win, I’m thrilled to be there. Thanks for all your lovely support. xxxx

I was wearing
Helmut Lang skirt (similar here)
Celine shoes (past season)
Celine Bag
Celine TV screen sunglasses

Ditsy Print Jacket

Gone all femenine in this pretty vintage print jacket and barely there silk shorts. Put this soft set of plains and neutrals together to step out into a light lingering evening, filled with blossoming trees and people sat outside bars enjoying precious moments. After what feels like a never ending winter, spring looks to be raising it’s pretty head…
