I’ve a little soft spot for red lately. I was lucky enough to choose this little number from the boohoo range to wear for their #dressmas competition that’s taking place right now over on instagram. Your chance to win £500 to spend. All you have to do is snap yourself in a boohoo outfit, tag it with #dressmas and mention @boohoo.
As you know I’ve got a thing for lace and this dress reminded me of one I loved and blogged about a few years ago. It was by Erdem and very expensive. I bought one similar in cream from the high street a year ago but I’ve never seen one in red until now. Valentino has also just shown a whole collection of red including lots of beautiful red lace dresses to celebrate the opening of his flagship store in shanghai. So this dress is a defo for me and this party season. Love at first sight. Wore mine here with baby pink Valentino heels and neutral celine bag.

A few pictures from my recent visit to London. Wrapped up in my vintage fendi cape, fur lined boots and distressed tights. I don’t think I was alone – nearly every woman in London had her boots on yesterday. I was there for the #FRSmeetup. A lovely evening of chatting, delicious foodies and pampering. It was nice to finally catch up and meet lots of fab UK bloggers. It was probably my first chance to do so. Getting to chat to the girls I’ve known of through my two years of blogging was a lovely experience. Talking about the issues and experiences we’ve all gone through whilst blogging kinda made me feel better about certain things. It’s easier to accept and deal with stuff when you know that your not the only one going through it. A really good day-not so good, the two hour drive home through thick fog. Thanks for a wonderful evening all xxx
P.S I thought I’d share a few of the capes I’ve found recently in the little shopping feature below.

Fendi vintage cape (this is cute & this is amazing value)

I mentioned the other day about a little giveaway I’m doing over on my twitter account with McArthurglen designer outlets. As well as that I’m also taking part in the ‘Art of Denim’ This is a promotion McArthurglen have just launched. They are offering discounts and lots of offers across six of their designer outlets. As well as all these offers you can take advantage of a alterations and monogramming service at denim hubs. A pretty cool idea. My challenge for the celebrations is customising two pieces of denim that I’ve been given by McArthurglen. This gorgeous levis denim jacket and skinn jeans by Guess. The items arrived in a cool trunk which also included studs, sewing kits and a few other pieces to help me customise the denim. I decided to go with the studs. I’ve added a studded pocket to the jeans, giving them a little punk. I also did the same studded detailing to the inside cuff of the denim jacket. I always fold my sleeves up, so I thought it would be a good idea to add something to the inside. I like the studs being exposed when the cuff is turned up. I think customising it this way helps to maintain a good denim piece without making it too obvious and It gives one jacket two looks. Doubling up on denim is a fave look of mine. You can pop along to any of the outlets and join in- make sure you tweet me your pictures of your fave denim outfit/piece to win £50 to spend at one of the outlets.
