A beautiful day called for a fabulous pair of slinky high shoes. Paired these naked shoes with denim’s and a tee. I’ve been a bit quiet this last week-but I’m back to the blog and looking forward to the company blog awards next week. I do love high heels not practical for every part of my day. Really couldn’t magine doing the school run in them but I don’t need too much of an excuse to change quickly back into them
I used to wear an awful lot of black- not coz I’m a misery but purely because I think it looks cool with any colour you wanna combine it with. It’s also great for accessorising. Some might say it’s a safe option.Safe or not, it’s a great look for any woman day or night. Having key pieces in black is a must for me. Wear it for all seasons year after year. That’s not safe-that’s savy !!!
What’s with this constant down pour of rain?? Driving me mad-wearing shorts one minute then wrapping up for winter the very next! As you guessed these pcs were taken when the sun was shining and it looked like summer was on it’s way!! Guess that was wishful thinking. I went to london yesterday to film a taster video for a new style show they are hoping to produce. I had so much fun-love TV work!! Would be a dream to work in any part of production. Driving home wasn’t so great..it rained so hard I could hardly see. Hence my jaded morning feeling -YUCK!! So back to this outfit. A lazy kinda day brought out this shorts and stripes number. Added a spalsh of red with my Celine trio bag. which I love with the black, white and denim combo.Hope your all having a wonderful week….
I’ve been so busy lately with blogging stuff and with my three children that I’ve not had a great deal of time to post all that I wanted from the past few weeks. Catching up here with a few pictures I took the other week whilst in London on a short break. I stayed at the renaissance hotel (some pics here). I was lucky enough to stay in the beautiful kings suite, where I felt a lot like a princess. Four poster beds, chaise longue, roll top baths and luxurious dressing areas… aw heaven. I rarely get to sit for long enough to do my make-up as I’d like. No sooner I’ve sat down my little girl is ready to jump on my lap and share my lipstiks. Or rather mash-up my lipstcks. You can often hear me shouting out after her ‘bring mummies lipstick back’ …
I took the pics of my make-up to add to the other hotel room pics taken whilst messing around. Fitted well with a post I’ve been wanting to do. After being asked a lot about the make-up I use from readers, I thought this a perfect chance to do a make-up post. Most of my make-up is by Tom Ford. I flick between the browns and pink eye pallets but I always use the tom ford espresso brow and eye line pencils. The most argued about product I like to use is the ravish blusher. Some make-up gilrs love it some don’t, For me it’s a personal fav. I feel it brings warmth to my cheeks. I’m not a pinky cheek kinda girl and prefer a sun-kissed natural look. Thou I do love smokey heavy eyes for nights out.
I’ve listed everything I use from the Tom Ford range- some pieces are not shown above.
Limited edition cream for eyes-Escapade
Shade and illuminate creme
Bronzing Powder Gold dust
Golden Mink Eye pallet
Sable smoke lip colour
Tom Ford Blusher
Tom Ford Espresso Eye liner pencil
Violet Dusk eye colour quad
Espresso Brow Sculpter
Here are a few of my summer fav’s. I’ve chosen these pieces for their versatility. They can all be mixed and matched and all are easy to wear. I thought the J Brand cut off’s would be great with both tops, the hemut lang would be perfect with them along with the Celine sunglasses and Sigerson shoes, which also carry the nice nude detail. The embelished 3.1 phillip lim t-shirt would work well with the denim cutt off’s, glam earrings and jacket for a uber cool evening drinks kinda outfit !! Also team the T shirt with the sweater skirt, heels and black jacket thrown over for a chic day look. Add the earrings to both outfits to either match embelished T-shirt or to glam up the simple helmut shirt.. aw love summer dressing!! Ps You can click any item to view.
I used to wear lace on nearly everything I wore- I’ve not dressed in it for a while which is nice as it feels fresh and differnt to my usual attire. Here the lace pannelling is paired with soft silk which gives a very femenine and innocent look. I’ve mixed it here with different textures to make it more of a wearable day piece, but I’m sure it’s going to be one of those fab pieces you can put with anything…
These pictures are from my trip to london this week, where I attended the launch of Laurens way lashes and other pretty beauty products.
Mixin’ denim and leather for today’s look. Love this soft nude jacket-perfect combo for these distressed denim mini shorts.I’m getting addicted to these heavily distressed kinda shorts. Another of my fav’s has to be the gold hardware to this jacket. I always love that detail to leather but even more so against these nude tones. I seem to be drawn to these neutral colours lately- smouldering sand and nude shades, perfect for a fresh sunny day.
