The classics black and gold duo. One of my favourites and great for keeping things timeless. The shoes, bag and top all carrying the signature pairing for a casual day out. I’ve just recently gone a lot blonder, getting used to being as bright as this takes a few days. I do love sun kissed hair for summer. I’ve naturally very curly hair so keeping the frizz away and colouring can be quite hard. It takes a while for my hair to settle after a colour But I’ve found a really good salon that I’m happy with. Thats a task in it’s self. Have a great weekend xx Dawn
A girls girl kinda dress. White, lace and oh so sweet and pretty. How could you not love this.Well I certainly do. Its beautiful fabric is heavy and snug. Not an uncomfortable dress but something you can just slip on and wear with minimum effort. I would have on one every colour if I could. But I’m very happy to have just this one. Perfect summer time dress. Dressing it with heels, flats cardigans and sweaters it’s an ideal wardrobe filler. In-fact it’s centre piece for me. Special occasions or just a day out. It’s just lovely.Dawn xx
Finding pieces that fit so well together for an outfit. I’m happy to of found a few nice pieces lately that all seem to work together. This suede skirt is so versatile. I wore it with a sweater the other day and now with this gorgeous shirt. I love the texture mix. Lace and suede. A 2015 70′s inspired look. The little things like sunglasses can round an outfit off. The finishing touches are sometimes all you need.
It’s easter weekend so it’s time to indulge in a little chocolate eating.Happy Easter all xx
Have a great holidays. Dawn
Watch out springs here and I’ve decided to bare some skin. Hooray at last. Obviously I did a bit of sunless tanning with one of my favourite beauty products.I find it hard not to tan my legs when I’m wearing short skirts. It helps even out the skin and hide winter blemishes, until the sun helps out in a natural way. I’m not a huge sun tanner and I rely a lot on the fake stuff. Much healthier. After my sister had skin cancer at just 30 it became incredibly real. And frightening. And I’m fully aware of the dangers. I’m always topping up the children when we are away. It’s hard work at times dragging them out of the pool or sea but it’s really important we protect ourselves. I’m trying to be good and use a SPF 50on my face. I often forget. With the weather being so cold/cloudy you think your safe but even in the winter our skin needs protecting.
Any way back to the day and what I was wearing. Been meaning to get this sweateron the blog but hadn’t had the chance. I found this skirt, had a little dressing up session as you do…trying things on and bingo!! The perfect paring. Threw a long coat over just to keep warm, not wanting to get too carried away just yet.
I hope your all ok. Please leave me a comment and let me know if you’ve found any nice outfit combo’s recently.. maybe leave a link to your favourite look. XX Dawn
