Dreamy and oh so beautiful. Just a few pictures from my first few days here on the Cote d’ azur. So much to write so I’d better make it snappy as I have three little ones waiting for me to jump into the pool with them.
The coastline is breathtaking and there’s port after port. My favourite at the moment is Saint Maxime. Utterly beautiful. Very busy but so chic and pretty. Cobbled streets and coloured shutters. You can catch a water taxi from here to Saint Tropes. This takes about 10 minutes and is probably the best way to get there. As the traffic can be hellish. Its super busy when you get there but make sure you walk the alley to the top square where you will find the beautiful designer shops to window shop and lovely bistro’s to enjoy some amazing sea foods.
The beaches around Agay are where I’ve recently been. But these are very busy and quite rocky. It can be hard to park but it’s all good and there are lovey beach restaurants waiting to serve you.
Lounging by the pool had been the best way to unwind. Walking for early morning coffee and croissants and flicking through the beautiful pages of French Vogue. Ahhh it feels wonderful to just sit and enjoy the sunshine.
There’s so much to do. I’ve the beaches of Fruges to sample the next few days.Monte Crlo, Cannes and Nice all to come… Be sure to catch everything over on my instagram and snapchat. Have a great week xx Dawn

What a difference a day makes. From winter to heatwave in the space of 24 hours. The joy of the Great British summer.
It’s hard to know what to wear some days. You can get dressed in the morning for one season then by lunchtime be needing a complete outfit change.
Anyway, I love these pretty summer dresses. Being able to waltz around in them daily is a dream. That is obviously not happening at the moment. But at any given chance I’m right back into my summer clothing. Col shoulder trend has been evolving for a while now. Both winter and summer seasons. Which I’m pretty happy about as I love the trend. Especially good when done in this elegant girlie stlye,
When summer goes the wrong way and the shorts are thrown aside for something a little warmer. Cue the cord coat. Keeping it soft and summery beneath in cream jeans and blouse. I love camel and cream combo and looking on the bright side of a wet cold summer I get to indulge in a little transitional dressing. Surely it’s not that time already, to be thinking Autumn coats etc etc. Well not just yet. But the weather has been so bad lately I couldn’t resit. Not that I ever want to give in and accept we may never get a decent summer.I literally hate winter. I don’t even feel like I’ve done any summer dressing. I guess I’ll have to ave that for my holidays.I can be sure I won’t be needing to pack this in my case. But sadly I’m sure it’ll be number one on the wear list before too long.
Have a great weekend. And hopefully by tomorrow, I’ll have my shorts back out!!
PS If your interested in purchasing the coat I’d go for a size smaller as it comes up quite big.
Off the shoulder tops never seem to tire. Year after year they seem to be a wardrobe must have. Frills or simply plain. I enjoy wearing them. Found this amazing off the shoulder bodysuit. So easy to wear with just about everything. As you know that suits me. I like being able to get my wear from the things I buy. I’m not one to just wear something once. I also like to try out new styles. I’m pretty basic when it comes to my style. But it’s just simple dressing. I like nice tps and detailing but it’s never too complicated. These key pieces are great to combine with lots of other pieces. Especially for travelling or like my other posts up and coming holidays. h kind of bodysuits are great transitional pieces too. I hate to look to the Autumn but they are pretty cool for late summer dressing.Wear with a slouchy cardigan and jeans and a way to go. One piece suits all. Happy mid week
